Virtual Animal Blessing: Home Church Service, Sunday October 11,2020

This Sunday we will be doing a blessing of the animals during worship in honour of St. Francis of Assisi.

Toward the end of the service, we will be pausing to collect our pets in preparation for the blessing, which will be a litany of prayer for all animals, ending with a specific prayer for our pets.

You will be invited to physically connect with your pet for the final blessing or raise a hand of blessing to an excited animal that won't be still. The blessing will be offered, regardless of how well they cooperate. : ) You may also want to bring a picture of a pet who has passed away or is lost, as we will be praying for them, too.
