CCG Visioning Team Presents 'Provocative Propositions'.

Dear CCG Community,

The Visioning Team is excited to present to you the fruit of several months of work. Attached is the list of "provocative propositions," which are mini-mission/vision statements that aim to provoke inspiration and action from us. The visioning team took the raw information from the conversations we had with you all in January and February, pulled out themes, theologies, values, etc, and worked them into these statements. We have taken the statements through several revisions and asked critical questions of them before presenting them to you today. In the attached document, you will find the 9 statements, framed in a worksheet to help you process your thoughts about them. Please spend some time with the propositions and the worksheet in preparation for small group conversations over zoom on September 16 at 1:30pm or September 18 at 10am. Please bring your worksheet to the zoom meeting of your choice, after which we ask you to turn your worksheet into the visioning team (see worksheet for instructions).
